| My favorite time of the day in Cades Cove, Great Smoky
Mountains National Park, is early morning just as the sun is rising. The
fog is still hanging low in the meadows, immersing the trees and herbs
in the fields in a blanket of mist. It was a cool, fall morning when I
took this photograph. I enjoyed capturing the calming mood of the bare
trees silhouetted against the foggy, pastel colored sky. |
