| This image has an immediate impact on viewers. Sometimes
I hear people gasp. It is the same tree that appears in the photograph
titled "Serenity at Dawn." I was so inspired by the tree
against the pastel background that I decided it needed to be isolated
and stand alone in its own light. So I zoomed in on the scene and tried
to capture the beauty of the morning light, fog and tree. Working
together, I hope these elements trigger an emotional reaction to the
