Charles Butterfield |
| Charles Butterfield earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in biology
teaching at the University of New Hampshire. He later earned a Master of
Science in Science Teaching from American University in Washington, D.C.
More recently, but still some time ago, he graduated from the Bread Loaf
School of English at Middlebury College with a Master of Arts degree. He
was awarded a Robert Frost scholarship by the Bread Loaf Writers’
Conference which made it possible for him to study poetry writing with
Pulitzer Prize winning poet Maxine Kumin. He has been writing poetry for
more than thirty years, publishing sporadically in the smaller literary
magazines and in newspapers. |

Larry Richardson |
|
Larry Richardson is a self-taught photographer specializing in close-up
(macro) nature photography. He is published in three issues of Nature
Photographer magazine. His articles are based on the concept of creativity
and creative seeing. Numerous other magazines have used his photographs
including the state publication, Vermont Life. In addition, they have been
used in Mountain Trails Press engagement calendar for Great Smoky
Mountains National Park. National Geographic uses one of his images in
their 2008 wall calendar and engagement book. His images have been
displayed in local galleries and sold in a number of unique Vermont
artisans’ retail establishments. He has received numerous awards for his
work exhibited and sold in juried fine art shows in the East, from Florida
to New England, and Midwest. |
